Laser Spine Institute is proud to announce the addition of neurosurgeon Jeffrey Nees, M.D., to its Oklahoma City surgical center. Dr. Nees joins the team and brings with him over 15 years of experience in private medical practice with a specialty in neurosurgery. Dr. Nees is no stranger to Oklahoma as he is recognized as one of the first surgeons in the area to use artificial discs. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
In his new position with Laser Spine Institute, Dr. Nees will perform spinal surgeries on patients suffering from neck and back pain. He will also work closely with Dr. G. David Casper and the Oklahoma City medical staff to help patients achieve a better quality of life through optimal surgical outcomes. He will also work to educate healthcare professionals on the advancements in, and advantages of, endoscopic spine surgery.
Bill Horne, CEO of Laser Spine Institute, is excited about Dr. Nees joining the team and all that he will add to the Oklahoma City surgical center. “We are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Nees to Laser Spine Institute as we seek to meet the growing demand of patients looking to find relief from neck and back pain. The Oklahoma City surgical center will benefit from Dr. Nees’s surgical expertise, leadership and dedication to his patients.
When not serving patients at the Oklahoma City surgical center this summer, Dr. Nees plans on participating in a medical mission with Laser Spine Institute. He has worked extensively in Haiti on medical missions in the past and is excited to continue his medical philanthropic work. Dr. Nees is actively involved in fundraising efforts to build hospitals in underprivileged areas.
