Laser Spine Institute partners with ACA
Laser Spine Institute is proud to announce its official partnership with the American Chiropractic Association. It’s a huge step in the industry for a surgical provider to be recognized, much less endorsed, by the chiropractic industry.
With this partnership, both organizations take a step toward creating an even better integrated care model for treating patients with spine issues. And ultimately, the patient is the winner.
The major focus for both organizations will be an increased continuum of care for patients. Laser Spine Institute and the ACA are working together to develop post-operative rehabilitation certification program, utilizing chiropractic care.
“The partnership between Laser Spine Institute and the ACA is a game changer,” said Dotty Bollinger, Laser Spine Institute President and Chief Operating Officer. “An integrated care plan provides practitioners distinct roles in treating the spine, and provides patients with a better opportunity for successful, long-term treatment.”
ACA’s endorsement of LSI brings reassurance to patients that their course of treatment is in the best interest of the patient, not individual providers. More than 80 percent of the U.S. population suffers from back or neck pain.
“Our focus as DCs is to provide patients with the best care imaginable. When minimally invasive surgery becomes the best option, ACA members and Laser Spine Institute will work to ensure that the goals of patients and the profession are being met,” said ACA President Keith Overland, DC, when asked about the partnership.
Since 2005, LSI has helped more than 40,000 patients get their lives back. LSI treats a variety of spinal conditions, including spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, pinched nerves, bone spurs, bulging/herniated discs, scoliosis and sciatica.
