Laser Spine Institute was recently invited to participate in the national MGMA Forum in Dallas, Texas, and five representatives from the Laser Spine Institute Team were delighted to attend. This two-day event titled, Innovation in Healthcare, allowed Dotty Bollinger, Mark Andrzejewski, Don Rath, Eric Miko and Clay Grossman the opportunity to network with other providers in the industry and discuss best practices. The forum’s focus on transparency and accountability in healthcare was especially relevant to the mission of Laser Spine Institute. And with frequent changes in the nation’s healthcare delivery and financing systems, it was critical, as a provider, to attend.
Participation in these types of forums will help ensure that patient satisfaction and the affordability of provider/patient costs remain top priority at Laser Spine Institute. According to Clay Grossman, Director of Patient Financial Services at Laser Spine Institute, “Our group left with a united sense of accomplishment, as we were able to reconfirm that Laser Spine Institute is ahead of the curve with our unique patient-centric approach to treatment.” According to recent surveys, 97% of Laser Spine Institute patients state that they would recommend Laser Spine Institute to a friend or family member. Coupled with the fact that 87% of Laser Spine Institute patients report improvement within three months of surgery, it’s easy to see the standards of excellence Laser Spine Institute has in place. Clay Grossman continues, “As a company, however, we are constantly looking to learn new ideas that may enhance our patient satisfaction even more.” On behalf of patients and their family members alike, Laser Spine Institute looks forward to future participation in MGMA forums, and the chance to set new standards in patient satisfaction.
